Support the LPO
The 67-member Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, the largest full-time professional orchestra in the state, performs classical and popular music for the entire region, offering over 100 concerts each season, including educational programs for 15,000 students in seven parishes.
Ticket prices do not begin to cover the costs of sustaining the LPO’s wide-range of musical programs, so the support of foundations, corporations and individual music lovers is crucial to keep the beautiful music playing.
Orchestra Fund 2009-2010
While ticket sales are critical, your philanthropic support is what makes all of the LPO’s offerings in southeast Louisiana possible: from the popular park concerts held free of charge to the public; to the education outreach concerts performed in six parishes annually; and, of course, our many concerts performed in New Orleans, Jefferson Parish and on the Northshore.
